Zimbabwean Rapoko Soapstone
comes in a variety of colors.
All of these Pieces are hand carved,then sanded
(using as many as 7 grades of sandpapers with water),
and finally finished by applying a coat of clear floor wax.
The wax,like water,brings out the colors of the stone
 without evaporating,and gives
